We finally have a release date for the highly anticipated collaboration content with Resident Evil 2 in PlayerUnknown’s Battleground (PUBG) Mobile.
PUBG Mobile’s official Twitter handle, @PUBGMOBILE tweeted on January 18-
“In order to celebrate the highly anticipated Resident Evil 2 coming out on January 25, we are celebrating now with Duos event! We look forward to the full release of the collaboration content later this month and can’t wait to share more with you! @RE_GAMES.”
PUBG Mobile hasn’t officially stated that they are releasing the Zombie Mode, but fans and streamers are certain that an interesting, undead mode is the collaboration content that’s been mentioned in the tweet, to be out on January 25th.
Ever since PUBG announced on January 3 that they are doing a collaboration with Resident Evil 2, during the PUBG Mobile Star Challenge (PMSC) finals in Dubai, fans have been waiting anxiously for more news and many speculated that a Zombie Mode is arriving on mobile. The teaser trailer released at the same time has only just made it more exciting.
Fans expected the new content to drop with the update accompanying the fifth season of this hit mobile game, that is PUBG Mobile Patch 0.10.5. The new PUBG Update, which released on January 18, however, didn’t bring any Zombie related content. But now, we finally have a confirmation date regarding the same.
The PC version of the game already has a Zombie Mode. In this mode, a small group of humans are up against 98 Zombies. The humans parachute down, collect loot and hunt down the zombies. The undead, who are also real players, can’t loot or pick up weapons. Their strength is in their numbers.
