A PUBG PTS update Wednesday added canted sights to the PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS PC Public Test Server in PUBG Update 25.
Canted sights are a new attachment applicable to many of PUBG’s weapons that allow PUBG players to attach a second sight to their gun. Pressing ‘ALT’ and right clicking will alternate aiming between the two scopes.
Equipping a canted sight to a weapon without another sight will set the canted sight as the primary sight. The next PUBG sights attached to the weapon will be the secondary sight. Alternatively, equipping the canted sight with another sight in place will keep the first sight as the primary.
The canted sight can be used with the Beryl M762, AKM, AUG, M416, Mutant, QBZ, SCAR-L, G36C, SLR, Mini14, Mk14, QBU, SKS, AWM, M24, Kar98k, UMP, Vector, Bizon, S12K and M249.
The addition of canted sights to the game will slightly change each weapon’s position and view angle in ADS, but shouldn’t change the mechanics of shooting.
The new attachment arrives alongside the Bizon SMG, the snowbike, a rebalance to loot on Vikendi, new moonlight weather for the snow map, and the ability to set a default firing mode for each class of weapon.
