PUBG Xbox will receive its next update Feb. 28.
After PUBG Xbox players reported vehicles falling through the map, buildings failing to load and other loading problems with Vikendi, PUBG Corp promised a hotfix to address the problems. According to a Reddit comment by PUBG Xbox community manager Lumos, PUBG Corp has since rolled that hotfix into the content update scheduled tentatively for Feb. 28.
The decision effectively changes what was originally described as a hotfix into a standard, slow moving update update. While it gives PUBG Corp more time to fully solve the various loading and rendering problems, it also leaves players with the broken game for longer.
These latest performance problems joined the mass already in the game with the last PUBG Xbox update, when PUBG Corp added Vikendi to the game.
